Small Things, as a body of work, was born out of a need to fill a gallery space in two weeks time. I talked it over with objects from around the house, based on their willingness to fit within the parameters of the petite, salvaged boards that I had amassed from the neighborhood pickings. All of my sitters were patient and taciturn under the strong lighting. Most enjoyed the experience of overnight portraiture. The alarm clock went missing, sadly, and was never heard from again.

Do enjoy.
